Let this be a warning to students of the Chinese language everywhere:
Paul and Shumang Fredlein are trying to poison your mind.
Consider: today’s lesson featured an entire section devoted to finding out where someone sleeps. No, ni jin tian wan shang shui nar?
is not just part of an innocent grammar lesson, but shocking come-on that can only lead to seed-spilling, sodomy and other unspeakable acts. But the section entitled Finding out where someone sleeps
is only the tip of the iceberg of corruption that has already spread its roots throughout the textbooks. As further proof of their hideous lewdness, I present you with the following pictures:

The caption reads, I am dancing
. But the skirt and would suggest “I am selling my body” as a more appropriate caption.

Xiaoming begins his striptease…

…assuming a series of suggestive poses…

…before finally appearing in his nakedness.
So insidious is this plot that Mr. Fredlein himself as already managed to corrupt Mrs. Olson, a woman strong in her family values and steadfast in her faith. Consider also: this dangerous man has even eaten dinner at Mrs. Olson’s house. If you are in the AP class, it may already be too late to save you.

Wow. What kind of textbook do you use? I’ve never seen an American textbook for Chinese (because I’m a native speaker and therefore used Chinese textbooks when I was little), but that is in a way quite funny. A lesson where someone sleeps… haha.
