Photon Wordpress Theme

For low bandwidth and high style.

I figured I’ve been playing around with this theme long enough that it’s time to release it to the general public. Photon was designed to be lightweight and legible. This means no images without semantic content, no tiny fonts, no dark backgrounds.

Also, no screenshot or demo page provided, because you’re looking at the theme right now.

While it will work without them, this theme works best with two plugins installed:

• SleepyDisco’s SimpleTwitter (http://www.sleepydisco.co.uk/plugins/simpletwitter/ )
• Binary Moon’s Comment Highlight (http://www.binarymoon.co.uk/projects/bm-comment-highlight/)

Play around with the options page until you get colors you like. The default colors are courtesy of the Tango Project (a couple of those colors don’t actually affect anything right now).

Please note that this is an alpha release. It is by no means polished or even feature-complete; you should expect bugs and rough patches generally. This also means that I am still taking suggestions for things to add, so if there’s something you really want just let me know and I’ll try to build it into the next version.
